  1. Hi Deborah,

Looks like you have given up on me as I've been so slow commenting on your posts. I just thought of it tonight and made my way here and I'll try to do better at keeping up to date.

You sure bought a lot of candies for the kids. We only have a few that come to our door as there is no sidewalk on this side of the street. This year we decided just to turn out the lights and forget about it. We usually buy so much candy that we (mainly me) wind up eating it. I felt badly doing it but it is expensive and we really can't afford it right now....and I don't need all that candy.

Glasses every 5 years is a long time. Now that I'm an old lady I can get my eyes checked yearly instead of every other year. I had cataract surgery in May and now my glasses that I have had for probably five years or more are just fine. I can even see the house numbers across the road without my glasses on and it is a fair way away. The surgery was a piece of cake, not at all painful, and the worse part was the eye drops for so long. When you say white things in front of your eyes, I am wondering if it is cataracts and surgery might help you.

Cable is so expensive now. We have our cable, internet, home phone and cell phones with the same provider so we do save some money. It still seems like a lot though.

Hope you have a great week and let's pray for good weather for a while yet. We've had enough rain to do us for a bit.

    Take care of yourself,
